I am @julierwright on Twitter. I teach math at da Vinci Arts Middle School, a public school in Portland. This school year, 2018-19, is my fifth year as a da Vinci teacher, after teaching math and science at various other middle schools and high schools in the Portland area since 2009. Before I was a teacher, I once worked for a chemistry software company, then I was a stay-at-home parent to my two sons (now in 10th and 8th grades). I believe passionately that all students can thrive and grow as they use math to solve problems and study our world, and that everyone should have fun math experiences.
